High pressure series
This is the most efficient of all the series. Pumps circulate water or a non-freezing, heat-transfer fluid through the collectors and a heat exchanger. This heats the water that then flows into the home. They are popular in climates prone to freezing temperatures.
Hot water flow rate depends on the cold water pressure, the higher the pressure of tap water, the stronger the flow rate of hot water. These work in all applications where water consumption is low to high. Often these systems are installed with an electrical back-up element.
In terms of price High Pressure systems are the most expensive. However the benefits you get are as free hot water for over 20 years. This system is also the most reliable in terms of continuous hot water availability |
